Censor Analyzer for Aseprite

This Aseprite extension allows you to use Quickmarble's Censor color palette analysis tool to analyze your pixel art color palettes directly in Aseprite. 

To quote Quickmarble:

"Censor is a standalone palette analyser inspired by DawnBringer's Palette Analyser for GrafX2 and having a compatible layout. It helps creating and evaluating restricted palettes by providing visualisations and highlighting certain properties."

Features & Usage

   To use this plugin, just open the "Options" (≡) menu above the color palette and then select "Analyze Palette with Censor" and the current color palette will be analyzed.

Once the analysis is complete, the results will be opened right in Aseprite (as "analysis.png")

Requirements

    This extension has been tested on both Windows and Mac OS (specifically, Windows 11 and Mac OS Sequoia 15.6).

Linux has not been tested but should also work (it's on my to-do list!).

It is intended to run on Aseprite version 1.3.7 (API version 28) or newer. As long as you have the latest stable version of Aseprite, you should be fine!

There's no need to install Rust - the appropriate  censor-analysis package for your OS is bundled with the extension. The following binaries are included:

• ARM Mac OS (a.k.a. "Apple Silicon")
•  x86-64 Windows
•  x86-64 Linux
• ARM Linux

Permissions

    When you run this extension for the first time, you'll be asked to grant some permissions. 

When prompted, select the "Give full trust to this script" checkbox and then click "Give Script Full Access" (you'll only need to do this once)
